McCabe's Guitar Shop, 3101 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, California

IN THE BIG ROUND! With Tracy Newman, Art Podell, Severin Browne, John Zipperer, Craig Lincoln, Ken Holme, and Melinda Gibson. Back long before the pandemic started, a group of top-notch professional singer-songwriter friends in Southern California decided to start meeting weekly to critique and inspire each other’s performances. These live meetings were forced to use Zoom during Lockdown but have continued throughout this whole time. Despite the clamoring by their friends who have tried to convince them to invite an audience, these meetings have always been totally private. UNTIL last October with 2 sold out shows at Coffee Gallery Backstage!!! Here is your chance to hear this amazing assembly of talent together publicly at the legendary McCabe's!

Tickets: $20

I'm thrilled to be performing with my good buddy, and AMAZING songwriter, Dave Morrison at the legendary Kulak's Woodshed. He has asked for my most introspective material, so I will be playing more of my favorite heart-felt original songs and cover tunes. Joining me will be the great Nick Kirgo & the equally great Leslie Barker! The show will also be streaming live on Facebook. Please join us for this very special & personal night of music. Seating is limited, so, email to reserve your seat ASAP to Alexia Salvatierra at: alexia@alexiasalvatierra.com 'Come Hungry, Leave Happy!' Julie's Joint 10th Anniversary with John Zipperer & the Current Band (Nick Kirgo, Leslie Barker and Tara Sitser) and Dave Morrison!! Dave introduced us to house concerts 10 years on July 31, 2011, he had a DIY stage and brought it over along w/ his chili. I added the pulled pork sandwich and all the fixins. We borrowed chairs from Jaynee Thorne. Great music outside under the stars, from both John & Dave & VOILA! Julie's Joint... well not so quick... add the audience and my volunteers and there you have it Julie's Joint!!!!! Where music turns friends into family. The coolest thing I've ever done! So thank you to Dave Morrison and to John Zipperer who had to build us a stage for the next Julie's Joint and for puttin' up with me wanting to put on a dinner and a show! $30 Suggested Donation We will be starting out small... limited seating, must be vaccinated, and other extra Covid precautions taking for the care of every guest with enhanced sanitation measures and crowd management.

Please reserve your seat by emailing me at juliesjoint@johnzipperer.com

The Woodshed Sessions at the Coffee Gallery Backstage is the brain child of Susie Glaze of "Susie Glaze and the High Lonesome Band" fame. This will be a once-monthly curated show series that will feature The great Susie Glaze, and a singer-songwriter or duo for a full set of music. The series will occur on Friday nights at the Coffee Gallery in Altadena. The structure of the shows will be one set from Susie and one set from me consisting of between 8-10 songs. Susie will finish the night with 1-2 more tunes.
